About Us
Goldie & what? Not what, who! Both Goldie and GuGu are our grandmother and great grandmother’s names. No bio could contain the lives of these incredible women, but for starters, they survived the great depression as children, endured World War II as young adults, and built beautiful lives despite incredible odds. We are the lucky grand daughters to have inherited their legacies and to this day we continue to be molded by their love and prayers.
We are Alexis, Brittany, and Courtney. Two share some DNA and one married the others brother, so at this point we are all just sisters. Between us we have 3 fantastic husbands, 11 children, 2 minivans and an SUV. We keep up with some cows, chickens, dogs and who knows maybe one day an ostrich! Our laundry piles are high, our dry shampoo game is strong, and together we know how to get stuff done. One of us has a business brain and the degree to match, another is the artsy fartsy type with an unreasonable amount of craft paint, and the other could whoop you in a kickboxing match while still looking like a supermodel. Our lives are big and busy, and our hearts are full to the brim.
We serve the Lord, love our people, and enjoy this wild life for all its valleys and mountain tops. We aim to capture this and more at Goldie & GuGu. The hope for our apparel is to sprinkle some confidence and fun into your closet, give you an extra reason to take the picture, and add some light to your life like our grandmothers did for us.
